I wanted to drop you a note to tell you guys that the group from Jacksonville had a blast last week. Your camp was absolutely incredible, in every way. The guides were superb! Wes and Jamile knew exactly were to go everyday and catch the best surf, they were also very professional in the way they did there job. They never made it look like they "had" to work. Always a smile and a great go for it attitude.  Such a great positive and peaceful energy. Thanks for allowing us to share in your world for a week. It is an experience that will last a life time.
I can't say enough about the experience there at your camp. Except that I will be back many more times!!

Just got back to LA and am already missing Popoyo! What a great time. The food was great, Mike was an awesome guide, and the surf was never less than fun! You folks have a great thing going down there. Hope to return again next year (maybe sooner!). Good luck with everthing.

I stayed at the lodge 7-3 to 7-11. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. The waves went OFF!!! Chris is the BEST, kept us: in waves, safe, stoked and out of crowds (mostly). The accomodations are top notch, Food was off the chain - don't get me started about the lobster feast. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven and being such a blessing!!

Matt Cunningham here. Popoyo surf lodge exceeded all expectations. The surf was overhead to double over head the whole week, but the staff made the trip. Never having attended a surf camp I was a bit leery, but it was great. Chris, our guide, was on it, 4:45 every morning, surfed without crowds for the most part. Chris had no ego, put us in the right place at the right time and stayed cool in a few difficult situations. Craig, John and Chris sincerely wanted all of the clients to surf as much as possible. Beautiful part of the world, poverty was sad, but seems they are making an effort to contribute to the local economy.

Hey to the whole crew of Popoyo this is Austin (Trendel Group/June 10th-15th ). I wish I could of been there to see that massive swell right after I left. From the looks of it (Surfline.com) Nicaragua was defiantly blessed with waves through the duration of that swell. I can't wait to get back to the Lodge some day and visit all yall. My time there was awesome, It seemed so unreal to find so many inspiring people in one place in a country that I would of never of thought of visiting. Well I just wanted to let yall know to keep doing what your doing because I feel that it will defiantly make an impact, if it already hasn't on the surf culture in Nicaragua and eventually the world.

We had a great trip and plan to do it again next year.  The guides kicked ass.

Like always..your hospitality,your friendship and the "spiritualality' you extended was awesome.I speak for everyone when I say"it was one of..if not the best trip I've been on...I feel that not only were the waves great but I came back with more than a satisfied feeling...a feeling of contentment both physically and spiritually....JJ, this sunday ,myself ,nando and Ricky are going to have our first prayer session..we have alot to be be "thankful for"...and we'll def. keep you and the crew there in our prayers....by the way, been listnening to Bradigan...very inspirational..and I've been praying daily...its been awesome...I feel this feeling of mellowness or contentment I've never felt before...been asking the Lord to help me look at life with a different outlook or approach....it seems to be working....anyway,Thanks for the Great time...say "Hello" to our friends.

I had a great time in Nicaragua, I liked so much the food, popoyo team and I got a lot of good waves. The best surf trip that I have done to central america. I have been to El Salvador, Panama, Costa Rica but Nicaragua was the best.
John was my surf guide, he is a very responsible man and no matter how hot It was at beach he was always taking surf photos of our group.
He knows a lot the surf conditions to score better wave in each surf spot.

Bruno just came back and he loved his trip, the best ever.
I just want to thank you for the help you gave to me and to Bruno, we had an awesome time there. Did you like our ads on the brazilans magazines ?

Popoyo’s experience was unexpected, all employees, as well as, the staff over exceeded what past surf camp experiences have been.  Service is superior.
 
Popoyo:
1.- In terms of a hotel, good water quality (I never got sick), non-stop electricity, but most of all, excellent food, and plenty of it. ( Lots of fruit during boat days)
 
2.- In terms of a surf camp, every morning at 5am our guide was at it,  taking us surfing.  In small days they knew where to go and score perfect barrels.  (Never smaller than 7 feet faces)
 
3.- Crowds.-      Out of the 8 spots we surfed, one spot was crowded and only after 2 hours of surfing.  Most of the time we surfed by our selves.

4.- Boats.-         Excellent boats, well maintained engines, never a shortage of fuel, double layer canopy for superior weather (sun and rain) protection, and experienced crew in tides and surf destination

5.- Transportation.-      Excellent,  Excellent, Excellent 4 x 4’s, mine swam through rivers and climbed steep mud hills.  

6.- Wave Quality.-        Excellent,  Excellent, Excellent
                                    All waves, long and short, they all had barrels, long and short.

My name is Randy and I stayed at your resort the last week of Sept. Must say, very excellent place. The surf was great and it was good everyday. Definitely going to come back in the future. I am seriously thinking of Nica and your area as an investment opportunity for me, of course we must wait to see how these elections go next month. Regardless, I am interested. I think I left my heart in Nicaragua when I flew back to the states. If there is any information you can send me about properties in the area or that you may own, I would very much appreciate it. If I were able to make the move I would love to work with you or for you. You have a fantastic setup with a beachbreak in front to match.

Great place down there! We had a fantastic time and all the surfing we could handle. We really thought John did a super job, making sure we were well taken care of, and making sure we were on the waves everyday. The lodge is obviously well thought out and the folks that work for you are top notch!

Thanks for having the water engineer review the Las Salinas system. What was his name? Could you send me his information when you get a chance?
